Cousin Joe The session includes some of his most famous compositions, such as "Beggin 'Woman" and "Is not So Such A Much" that have very intelligent and ironic lyrics. Cousin Joe was on the edge of jazz throughout much of his career and was a fixture in New Orleans artist since 1948 The lyrics to "I Would not Give A Blind Sow an Acorn" were often used by Dizzy Gillespie . Cousin Joe was a better pianist, but not as strong a singer. He is in solid form during his performance that was filmed five years before his death.
