Jessie Sanders (Little Howlin Wolf) was born on July 26, 1930 and raised in Florence MS, along Highway 49. He lived in Chicago most of his life, during which he spent many hours in the blues clubs and on the road with the late great Howlin Wolf '. Jessie took the stage first with Howlin 'Wolf in 1950. Jessie Lobo took under his wing and it was not unusual for him to be heard in reference to Jessie as his "son." Out of respect and admiration for his old friend and mentor Jessie began acting as "Lil Howlin Wolf". participated in several scenarios with blues greats like Howlin Wolf, Jimmy Reed, Hound Dog Taylor, Albert King, Magic Sam, Freddie King and Little Junior Parker.
