This concert by Koko Taylor in 1978 has eight blues standards and a number of compositions. some of their existos are " Wang Dang Doodle , " like- minded amid floorshakers ( " Let the Good Times Roll, " " Spoonful, " " Hey Bartender , " and "You Can Have My Husband ,")
The band is very in tune with the objectives set , and the solos are short and to the point . Koko Taylor ( September 28, 1928 - June 3, 2009) was an American U.S. Blues popularly known as the "Queen of the Blues " for his rough and powerful voice and his style based on traditional blues . Her name was Cora Walton . He was born in Shelby County , Tennessee , being the daughter of a sharecropper left Memphis to go to Chicago , Illinois in 1952 with her husband , truck driver Robert " Pops" Taylor .
In the late 1950s he began singing in Chicago blues clubs . It was discovered by Willie Dixon in 1962 , which led him to have better performances and her first recording contract. In 1965 , Taylor signed with Chess Records, which released his single " Wang Dang Doodle" (written by Dixon , and being a successful Howlin 'Wolf five years earlier ) , and which involved the harmonica player Little Walter and guitarist Hound Dog Taylor , , 3 became a huge success.
