Javier Martinez (b. Buenos Aires, Argentina, March 18, 1946) is a renowned drummer, singer and composer of Argentine rock, founder and leader of blues Manal. It has a world record running battery. It is considered not only as the precursor with his band playing blues in Spanish; but is also considered as the first singer and drummer not only Argentina but all over the world. Martinez is the author of the Argentine rock classics as "cold tomato juice", "No kid ',' House with ten pins" "Because today was born" and "Avellaneda Blues", the latter co-authored with Claudio Gabis.

On October 14, 2010 the city of Berazategui declared illustrious citizen Javier Martínez, the city decided to commend well known neighbor city. Martinez held a small concert, where members of the group La Renga, who are admirers of the work of Javier with Manal found.
