RL Burnside - Hill Country Blues (acustico) (1984)

Robert Lee "RL" Burnside (23 November 1926-1 September 2005) was an American blues singer, songwriter and guitarist who lived most of his life in and around Holly Springs, Mississippi. He played music for most of his life, but did not receive much attention until early 1990. In the second half of the 1990s Burnside was born in 1926 in Harmontown, Mississippi, Lafayette County, United States.

He spent most of his life in northern Mississippi, worked as a sharecropper and was also a commercial fisherman and kittens play guitar and bars was his passion. He was inspired to take first guitar at age twenty, after hearing in 1948 to John Lee Hooker, "Boogie Chillen". Burnside learned music in much of Mississippi Fred McDowell, who lived nearby in a neighboring county.
