Bo Diddley - Live In Sweden (1980)

Bo Diddley (McComb, December 30, 1928 - June 2, 2008) was a composer, singer and guitarist American who had a great influence on rock and roll. It is usually considered him as the dominant figure in the transition from blues to rock and roll, creator of basic rhythms with a hard, sharp sound of his guitar. Thus was nicknamed "The Originator" (The Author).

If rock and roll Elvis Presley is the king and his poet Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley was its architect. His personal style has influenced and continues to influence so that as time passes his figure is enlarged in the landscape of rock music. On the other hand, his fame was not awarded in the economic aspect as one might have expected. The rawness of his style closed its doors to millions in sales, other doors would open wide for many musicians and bands who influenced.
