The Cray Robert Band - AVO Session, Basel, 16.11.2003





Robert Cray is a guitarist and singer of blues and soul born in Columbus (Georgia), United States on August 1, 1953. In 1980 he released his first album: Who's Been Talkin, but did not reach fame until he recorded Strong Persuader in 1986. That same year he recorded with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton, Live Ballads In Dallas. Thereafter it is considered one of the leaders of the current blues with Eric Clapton, BB King and others. Among his most successful albums include Some Rainy Morning (1995), Take Your Shoes Off (1999), Time Will Tell (2003) and Twenty (2005). He has participated in important festivals like Croosroad Guitar Festival or Montreux Jazz Festival.

This time it comes in AVO Session is a music festival which takes place every October / November in Basel, Switzerland. The festival features international artists, as well as nationals of various musical genres on stage.
