Highlights encounters with Eddie King, Otis Rush and many other great blues artists in the path of American blues. Wheeler was born in Albany, Georgia on August 28, 1937 and like many young people of that era started listening to blues and playing guitar. At 19 he went to Chicago, where he struck up a friendship with Little Walter and began playing the harmonica.
