Popa Chubby - Electric Chubbyland (Tributo to Jimi Hendrix) (2006)
Popa Chubby is a blues rock guitarist born March 31, 1960 in The Bronx, New York, whose real name is Ted Horowitz. His stage name is translated to "make the chubby explode," referring to an erection. Grows influenced by the music of Hendrix and the decade of the 60, being from 1990 when, and after winning a contest in blues, begins to interest the community blusera USA. Among direct studio albums and has published 22 releases, as well as several audiovisual works.
Electric Chubbyland is a live concert in tribute to Hendrix. It was recorded on 10 and 11 February 2006 at the Corner Pub Stage of the town of Middletown, New York. However, the disc that hits the market also contains a studio recorded part. This takes place in 2006 in the Serpentine studios in Central Valley, New York.
