Documentary called Louie Bluie (1985 ) , premiered at Sundance about the mysterious strings and blues musician Howard Armstrong.

There are stories that deserve to be told and, fortunately, there are people who dare to do so. Fan blues 20s and 30s, and follower of the work of musician Howard " Louie Bluie " Armstrong, Terry Zwigoff (Wisconsin, USA , 1949) felt the need to tell the story of the multi -instrumentalist , driven admiration and almost zero prior knowledge of filming techniques . With the help of others who taught the bare minimum , filmed over a period of three years, the documentary Louie Bluie (1985 ) , unpretentious exhibĂrselo that of his friends in the living room of his home. As often happens in such cases , the film had no greater importance at the time (had a presence for other shy on the festival circuit ) reaching recognition and appreciation just two decades later . Thus began somewhat wandering the Zwigoff film career .

Your film is about loners, outcasts, subject to those invisible -pleasing cartoonist Daniel Clowes , so it was inevitable that the paths of both finished by crossing . But there will be time to talk about that relationship.
